One of the best shows on TV and the best space sci-fi with epic proportions in years. Why hasn't it won an Emmy?

Awesome show. How the hell does SyFy get the caliber of writers to make this show? I mean the stories are just too damn good and the script is too well written for a small outfit like Syfy. They punched above their weight and are winning. I could watch this show all day. Kudos.

This is a rare meeting. A great book series and an equally great TV series based on it. They REALLY paid attention to detail on the series!

Only the sudden and unexpected end of the entire human species, would I accept as a reason for a cancelation of this show. Syfy, never cancel this show!

Ahh, so they salvage the missing ammo from a derelict MCRN ship? I was wondering how the writers would go about it after they changed the whole conflict with the UN.

I dont think this was in the books so obviously it isnt added for filler. This ship or the people they find in the ship will be important points to come in the series.

Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck who are James Corey love prose science fiction space opera as it evolved from 1938 on wards and put Buck Rogers and Flash Gordon back in the toy chest. The novels borrow heavy from Robert Heinlein, Poul Anderson, many other writers. The show adapts the page with attention to verisimilitude. I have never seen TV science fiction like this before. Tell ya Amazon should just buy this out from under SyFy since they are looking for a Game of Thrones analog. The show then might get the marketing it needs.

I would have given the order: "Don't go near anything BLUE!!" Don't touch anything. Really don't. If you see anything awesome, don't sand there staring at it, run away!

Why can't we have this season directly on

They have followed the books generally but with some characters added and some removed, some situations added and some removed and sometimes even mixing up the order of events.  Actually, I liked the books but I have to say that I like the screen writers version much, much better.

They missed a strand of hair limping from Naomi's head, while they were supposed to be in the zero-G setting

Can anyone spoil for me if those idiots they rescued ever be in the show again? This episode ruined it for me, I cant stand they let them leave the ship alive.
