Man this show is just well produced. I still think it has the best visual effects on TV right now.

This show is a stunning achievement of grounded science and pretty much shows what I expected, mankind fragmenting quickly, marginalization of human beings despite the advances in tech, a lot of grit in there. Dare I say that this may be one of, if not the best, Sci-fi show yet. Great channel and video as always my friend!

The Expanse season premiere was excellent. It loved it. Bobbie Draper and Avasarala were great. I loved it. They are gonna continue to be great together as they try to reach Holden and his crew.

I gotta say I'm enjoying Amos more and more. He may be a cynic, but he is beginning to see things clearer than some of the others and he is learning to make his own decisions, the right decisions.

Love this show. It is one of the best hard SF shows on televsion, can't think of anything else in this genre that is as good.

Shame Jared Harris won't appear in this season. But then again, he's been pretty busy as of late, with a large number of acting jobs.
But, on the other hand. It does seem like we're seeing the return of another character around halfway the season.
I wasn't really fond of Steven Strait's acting and his Holden character in the first two seasons. But he seems to finally have gotten his shit together. How he brought forth the information on Io to Prax was pretty well done.
But the best part of this episode was simply Avasarala. Shohreh did an amazing job portraying her in the Razorback. All of her scenes had a great balance of tension and comedy. If only she was allowed to curse more like her book character.

Drummer is definitely going to take Michio Pa's role. And we also know that they made big changes to Ashcroft's role (revealed by one of the producers in an interview). I expect that Ashcroft and Drummer will as a duo do the parts and back-and-forth of what Ashcroft/Pa/Bull did in the books, to basically end up where they need to be with the story. We also know that this season will be a greater departure from the books than previously and that a "big change" is coming according to Daniel Abraham (The Churn podcast post-premiere).

I agree with each point except one: Naomi not caring really doesn't fit her persona AT ALL. She cares, but until Holden made his case, everyone believed Prax's daughter is dead and was ready to go to Tycho. Holden just inspired them like a good captain, Amos was ll "fuck it", probably more because he would have went with Holden anyway, and Alex follows Amos. Naomi is just being the pessimist, the one against everyone rallies and maybe a little bit cautious (Io is in range, yeah, but you never know, and clearly Tycho was the safest choice, even if I agree with everyone else that confirming the status of Mei should prevail).

I don't know how far you've gotten in the books, but there's no way the writers would morph or combine Drummer's character into or with
anyone else. She has a critically important story line of her own coming up soon.

drummer will take on parts of michio but also parts of bull but to do so will actually simplify the character's arc rather than complicate it thus ultimately making her a less interesting character. they will have had to add other complications to the story in order to make both her and ashford interesting.

Sorry had to stop watching, are you trying to narrate this with some weird psuedo dialect they use on the show? Your cadence is all messed up. Try memorizing your script and practice saying it a few times with more natural sounding inflections, before you record it. Then it won't sound like you're reading it or are some sort of Microsoft text to speech voice.
