Great video as usual buddy...

It might be something to do with someone addressing every connector on the bike and eliminating any parasitic drains? ;P

Hi Freddie. After your chat with Richard and mentioning his age, I thought I'd tell you what happened to me this week.
I was out and about in the town of Milford Haven on Pembrokeshire. I pulled up for five minutes along a road in the centre of town, where I saw a lady in her later years slowly strolling across her garden to retrieve her recycling containers from her front gate.
I hopped off my bike and grabbed them for her, and brought them to her house.
We got chatting, and it turned out she was 104 year's old. 😮
What stories she could tell...

Who needs network television when there is Freddy Dobbs!

I can't help thinking that the lead from the Quadlock should be at the bottom, not sticking out the top... Great video, just up the road from me, I really must check it out sometime.

As a 62 year old man who’s just retired and after 3 years of shall we say a number of challenges, is trying to check out to a more quiet life. May I say I admire your lifestyle and really enjoy your blogs. You appear to lead a rich life indeed!

Ever since your WURKS Bike rebuild, you have been the lucky owner of one of the finest Bonnevilles on the road in the UK. Lucky Man! Have many more excellent rides, and take us along for some of them... Get used to those Starlink satellites cruising through the night sky. In a few years, we won't be able to see stars anymore...

Love that old phone booth and to find that it actually works, that is just golden. It definitely would not have lasted here in South Africa, besides the phone being stolen or vandalized, they would have stolen the entire booth.

Is there a better way to start a Sunday, I think not. Beautiful English villages can't be beaten.❤❤

Loved this. The wetter you got, the better I felt! Having been down similar roads, through similar conditions, I knew all too well your misery. Camped one night in the Canadian Rockies. Pitched the tent in freezing rain, woke up with the foot of the sleeping bag frozen into a puddle at the lowest end of the tent. That was 43 years ago. The woman in the tent with me - she’s snuggled on the adjourning couch.

Your interaction with the elderly man was brilliant and the cabin in Essex has been added to the 'must experience' list

Beautiful watch. Mysterious silhouettes of Monika. And only Freddie would clean his bike and lie on the garage floor in beige trousers 😂

Very enjoyable video. Sunny Autumn days in traditional English villages and towns is always nostalgic and lovely. As an Englishman who left the U.K. many decades ago I often miss these rural English places.

I visit once a year and pottle around on my Royal Enfield visiting museums, air shows, county shows and hiking the countryside in places like the Lakes, Dales, Shropshire, Derbyshire, Brecon and Herefordshire - but I find the UK cities absolutely horrendous, hostile and alien nowadays - and the traffic on the roads is so bad that it’s somewhat stressful and getting more so.

I don’t mind the cold in small doses provided it’s dry and sunny like this day in Freddie’s video but often the weather is poor in Blighty and I have other places in the world that are warmer and sunnier to go. Whilst I mainly camp on my travels - UK has worst camp sites in the world and free camping is illegal - the odd day in a nice log cabin surrounded by farmland is very welcome and I am motivated to explore Kent, Essex, Suffolk, Norfolk and Lincolnshire next time.

Plan to go to ABR festival again if I am there - again on the trusty Royal Enfield Himalayan - although I am inclined to trade in for a 650 Bear. A perfect bike for pottling around the beauty spots of Britain and indeed further afield into Europe.

Again - thanks for a lovely video.
