I'm Japanese, and most of my knowledge about Japan's war crimes is from English sources. Because less than 10% of the population is multilingual, Japan is getting away with its censoring. I got bullied when I pointed out some stuff my history teacher was missing and was accused of lying when my classmates couldn't find any Japanese sources.
