The co op system being dependent on burning a one use item has always been a big mistake imo in just a quality of life manner. Wish I could just squad up with the bois.

One of the things im weirdly most excited about in Elden Ring is the jump button + ability to jump up cliffs with the mount. From soft love hiding crazy secrets in really obscure places. Some of the best (and weirdest) items and entire game areas and secret bosses in dark souls are hidden in weird places where you have to just blindly jump off an elevator as it's halfway up or down. I bet there are going to be loads of crazy things to find now that jumping/verticality is more integral to the game.

Just ordered it. Was debating between which to play first (this or Horizon). Horizon has the inflated price since it’s a Sony title. This is normally priced and that helped push me to pick it up first. I’ll buy both eventually and Horizon will likely be cheaper by the time I beat Elden Ring.

I’m currently playing dark souls remastered I’ve never been into any souls borne game but elden ring has really piqued my interest. I know dark souls is gonna be completely different to elden ring but the combat is still just too satisfying and every critical hit parry or backstab gives me more copium to make it to February 24th
