Vaati: Don’t play this like sekiro, you can find other ways to beat the bosses
Me: But hesitation is defeat

I feel like this is the game I've always wanted to exist

Im amazed that in a world where games monetize literally every little thing, Elden Ring just gives you a fuck ton of content without isolating it and selling it separately. I really wish it weren't so impressive that they're just doing what games used to always do: give you a complete experience

Jokes aside, if you didn't play the Network Test - then this video should help to teach you everything you would have learned from it.

Elden Ring feels like what I made of Dark Souls as a teenager in my own mind when it came out, 10 years ago.Back then it felt like what I see in those videos.Lordran was always a "completely" open world in my mind back then, although in the real game it wasn't.I believe Elden Ring is like a dream for every single one of us who loved those games back in the days of Demons/Dark Souls and got lost in their lore.

This feels like what they WANTED to make...but FromSoft wasn't big enough. But after such success they finally ARE big enough. And what I want to believe is that Elden Ring is the realization of that dream, because it sure looks like it.

For a game to surpass Dark Souls for me feels impossible but this seems like what I wanted to play all those years ago.And I freakin' love it!

Important Thing 11: ALL skeletons will reanimate. The way to stop it this time around is by attacking its body after "killing" it. Though if the skeleton glows while active, there's a necromancer to kill.

Important Thing 12: You can freely rebind your controls. Soulsborne veterans, are you tired of jumping when you want to pick up an item or read a message? You can swap those buttons around and instead jump when you intended to two-hand your weapon.

Some of the combat I've seen so far looks remarkably fluid. It's amazing how far we've come from Demons Souls.

Vaati: "Some spirits like the Noble Sorcerer are a sort of ranged dps"
Noble Sorcerer: *Glintstone Pebble* *11dmg*

lol.

Not sure what is more exciting. The actual game coming out, or knowing a new wave of Vaati videos are coming!

The biggest thing I’m getting excited seeing from the game is that you will see really unique play styles once the full item sets are released. Based on consumables spells weapons etc pvp will be really dope

it's pretty cool that the day/night time cycle takes exactly one hour. Makes it easy to look back and contextualize your journey, like "it took my character four months to reach the erdtree and fulfill the prophecy" or whatever it is that happens at the end :D

The flexible spawn points seem like really great idea for the open world.

This seems like the perfect combination of everything Fromsoftware has learned throughout the years, and turning it into a unique and fun experience for both returning players and new. I can't wait to see everything this game has to offer.

I am so unreasonably excited for this game, i haven't been this hyped since the run up to Dark Souls 3.

Can't wait to be in the thick of an active souls game again. Bring it on Fromsoft.

This game looks incredible. Like an open world adventure crossed with the highest evolution of Soulsbornkiro

I feel like the jellyfish summon is probably the best summonearly, that poison stacks fast and can sometimes be at weird angles and not take damage

This feels like a near perfect combo of all the previous soulsborne titles.
