I'm in disbelief that I'm currently loving win10. I remember back in the days when I updated to win10, couldn't run half of my games and reverting back to win7 thinking that win10 is a trash. Years passed and now I don't think I'll be moving from win10, until they stop the support.
Can't believe 8 years have passed this quickly.

I don't even need to watch the video to know that windows 10 is now the new windows 7

Have you thought about setting up a website with all the data? From videos love the unique GPUs and CPUs would be great to see a site with all the data laid out with FPS and temps and things! (I'd love to help in my free time with updates if you want me to reach out somehow?)

EDIT: Wow looks like might be popular! I've started a light bit of work to get some foundation in place if it would ever come alive! But of course it would all be on RG if he want's something like this!

This upload couldn't have come at a better time, i plan to re-install Windows fresh today as its been a while and was wondering should i go 11 or just stick with 10, looks like 10 it is.

To see most of the "improvements" that Windows 11 was supposed to bring, you need to test it with those Hybrid CPUs. The Win11 scheduler is supposed to handle that while Win10 struggles.
That's one of the few actual reported differences to test.

I have seen it mentioned that a clean install of Win 11 is recommended over the upgrade for best gaming results per HUB. i would also like to mention some apps may fail to work on 11. Ryzen master went out for me but i found a workaround, it was not easy. Great video!

I would like to see this same comparison in performance tests of each possible game, it is clear that each game restart is different and if things show different in both cases the difference cannot be appreciated so well

The rule of thing for me is keeping the oldest windows product until it is no longer supported, then you switch the second oldest .
Because every newer product is an even more intrusive spyware than the last one, The last operating system for me was windows 7

I am glad to see that all of the added spyware are at least not costing too many frames in games.

I was using win 11 for about 10 months, now going back to win 10 pro, more stable, less crash, very good temperature control, mostly I play PC game.. Ryzen 5 3600, RTX 3060, 32gb RAM .. I might consider to go back to Win 11 again probably after 1 year when it become more stable.

Please compare these to Tiny10, Tiny11, ReviOS and Ghost Spectre as well. Especially on some lower hardware, I find these do really, REALLY well on anything Skylake and lower.

Hardware Unboxed did a video a while back that showed that a fresh install of Windows 11 performed consistently better than a Windows 10 to 11 update

G'day Random,
I am still using W10, W7, Vista & XP Home on various PCs😁
My XP PC is for doing Anologue to Digital conversions, I do photos from film & Slides plus music & Home Video from LP, cassettes & VCR. I also use it for Retro Gaming.

Thank you for the video! This really does help. Just as I thought, there's no point in switching just yet.

Nice to see you’re still playing FarCry 5. It’s my favorite FarCry, too 👍🏻

I took a gamble to install Windows 11 as I rebuilt my PC recently with a 12th gen i5. Currently I like it way better and have had no issues. My only gripe is the power/restart icon in the start menu being on the opposite side of where it was in windows 10 lol

I am actually surprised with the results. I've seen many comparisons before from reliable tech channels and results were in favour of Windows 11 with some remarkable margins in some games

this was interesting. wasn't really surprised that W11 is a bit more taxing but I'm happy to see its pretty negligible. I've been running it for a while and haven't had any issues, however my hardware is a 3700x and 2070 super so it doesn't make a huge difference.
