What is going on guys, Nikki Covack here bringing the details you need for your next truck upgrade. Today video is on a 2021 GMC Sierra 1500. This S&B Cold air intake modification will work on most 2019-2022 Sierra's (V8 only, no diesel or 4cyl). This is a great way to improve your trucks performance while making the truck your own. Overall, this is a harmless upgrade that packs a big punch for what you pay for. Let me know what you think!

Thanks for showing that to disable the air filter life is to just put it on “accessory mode”. Sounds great!

I have the same on a 2019 1500 Trail Boss 5.3. If you want more normal driving and giddy up sound... AFE muffler delete pipe and lock the flapper valve open (some cut off the flapper). Oh yeah more growl

I went with the same intake on my 6.2L Silverado.

Thanks for the video. Once you got done testing it by flooring it for the sounds, did you see any increase in MPG?

Sounds great! Looks stock and ready to gulp air. My CAI doesn't sound that good on my 2021 GMC Sierra AT4 6.2L. Thanks for mentioning that air filter life deal disable.

I have a question for you as I am concerned about it since I had problems in the past. With the intake installed on a stock truck, do you feel any acceleration lag or bog down when you’re accelerating? I had a problem when I installed one on my Tahoe and truck in the past. It would delay acceleration and bog down for a second or two then go. It was like it was getting too much air. It was so bad that I ended up removing them and putting them back to stock.

Your stock intake cowl is already set up to get “cold air” your not going to get any real noticeable power
