1991 Toyota Corolla starts but dies replaced fuses and relays

was driving the car fine yesterday and had been for the past 2 years cooling fan stopped working when I took the fuse box cover off there was a wire running from a 7.5 fuse to the fan relay I guess the previous owner did this to keep the fan running continuously but it shorted out now the car won't stay running. any suggestions or tips let me know thanks ::::update the cars running because i hooked up a kill switch from the main engine relay it works good but does get hot.

I’m having this issue too I just pulled my spark plugs to find them pretty much toasted
Might pay to check I’m replacing mine today

Its a short circuit, however, because the pliers us solid compare to the tiny winding in the relay, thus causing the relay to burnt.

My starlet is not cranking.it all started after my tecnician did wiring because my brake lights wasnt working.after that my dashboard lights are all off.my car used to start but now it is making a tik tik tik sound when i try to start it.please help

Please, mine has the same problem... it has a spark, and the fuel pump is doing very well, but it starts and dies even when i hit the accelerator 😢

ignition fuse in the kick panel, mine was missing when I got my 87 4runner but I didnt know it at the time cause i didnt have the cover to go by. Would fire and run for just like couple seconds the die. Got the cover and seen the ignition fuse was missing, solved that problem.
