No Crank No Start (The Most Common Causes)

I recommend to anyone having continuous unresolved issues with starts to get s HALO BOLT portable jump starter. They work extremely well. I've jump people's cars so many times with this tiny little power supply. Everyone is so amazed when I break it out. And even more amazed when it works.
Not mention I also use it for powering my audio equipment now and then.
They around $100 on eBay or Amazon.

Wife just called about this problem, called her and told her to put it on neutral like you said and it started, thanks for the video. Its happened to me many times i replaced the starter guess it wasnt it bc its happened again. Gonna check that bracket and tighten it

My 2001 SAAB cabriolet started playing up three years ago. Intermittent no start. Happened about once a month. Wife not pleased.
Usually cleared after 20 mins. but not always. First fix was to put two wires through to the starter relay and fire up with a standard 9V battery. 100%
Eventually tracked the fault down to a corroded terminal on the wiring loom connection to the bottom of the ignition switch. I had the whole thing apart and saw it. However one can just take off the plastic behind the key and squirt WD 40 into the little hole in the back of the aluminium casing which the key hole is mounted on. Strange that such a useful hole was put to keep car until I am 100 (and it's 50 )

I have a 05 RX330 that won't crank or start, very frustrating everyone keeps saying it's the starter but you name so many more options. I need my car fixed ASAP for Dr appt and my son plays football also I'm his personal Uber driver and crippled w/o a car. I feel like someone should be able to come and at least check some fuses. Hate being a single mom times like this.

EasyAutoFix, you are absolutely correct about shifting into the neutral position to start my nissan wheneve I cannot crank and cannot start. Many mechanics do not know this. Only 1 mechanic that I happened to stumble upon. He showed me this trick. Most of the time I can start my car using this trick, but sometimes I cannot then I would have another car jumpstart my battery then I can start. May I ask why this is the case? Why using either 1 of these 2 methods of starting my car works? Thank you.

Thanks a lot! Ive been working on my car for a good minute trying to figure out whats going on, good battery, new starter, no bad fuses, good wiring, but it wont start in park, only neutral
