“What’s this?” in the thumbnail? Well that’s clickbait of course

This video is a fantastically intelligent presentation of the type of things people think when they're high. I love it.

Well, since we look back in time when we look into space then the most logical answer is we just don't see it yet. Assume Earth took an average amount of time to develop life. We look at a planet 100, 000 light years away and we see it long before life is advanced enough to be visible. We could be looking at a planet teaming with life, but the light hasn't reached us yet.

It would be awesome if there were giant beings floating around in space that we could see from the James Web.

These kinds of videos start as news and turns into a Ted Talk with tons of pictures that have nothing to do with the information. Bravo.

They're well aware of us. They stay away because we're crazy.

You don't have to leave the simulation to find them. They're right here and always have been since the beginning of The Game.

You could have literally made a small animation with regards to your thumbnail and just made something up, we, obviously, can’t visit that particular planet, given that, this world would, ultimately, be your oyster, instead we just got a bucket full of hearsay, wild speculation and exoplanet weather reports. I wish so much to know about your conceptualised creature on the thumbnail, it looks so interesting!

The question to ask is not "Where" is everybody at.... but "When". Compared to time, any lifeform would be a flash in the pan of the time continuum.

We should look for quantum cubes that might contain self made VR mini-universes with all the matter converted into data. These cubes can be of all sizes, if storage quantum tech has almost infinite potential, while self powering from stars. Such a civilization can hold its real server intact up to trillions of years before the stars no longer produce energy.

For anyone looking for plausible depictions of alien life look into speculative biology

If the ice sheet covering the water planet was thick enough, the auger could be developed independently of the rocket. Either drill up and make shelter, or just drill up far enough to be able to get through easily.
It really depends on your tools, and habitat and available resources could be great filters. I was wondering what are those filters at those specific year markers, but it could be anything.
Theory blows my mind sometimes.

I don't think we'll find anyone out there without actually being able to go out there, because when we look through satellites and telescopes, we are essentially looking into the past of thousands of light years if not billions of light years away from us. Now if you take in technology advancement of just a few hundred years that we've had and compare that to the other galaxies that we can observe, how advanced can they now when we are looking at their past and not their present?

Perhaps I just saw a video with the most comprehensive answer regarding extraterrestrial life. Everything from explaining the Fermi paradox to listing the possible appearances of aliens. It was cool. For whatever reason we haven't found aliens so far, I think we'll all just be safer from it. However, the idea that extraterrestrial life can be anything is amazing!😃

There is this old sci-fi novel, 'The Killing Star', where a surprise attack wipes out humankind within seconds. One of the few survivors happens to have a conversation with one of humankind's murderer and get told that it was nothing personal, they just wipe out every species that could be a potential threat for them in the future, a.k.a. 'everyone else'. This book assumes the following:

1. If push comes to shove, any intelligent species would put _their_ continued existence and well-being about _ours._
2. Top dogs are no wimps. Any species that managed to become the dominant species on their planet and even made it into space must be highly intelligent, alert and aggressive when needed.
3. They will have to assume that 1 and 2 are true for us as well.

As much as I love Star Trek etc., I think it would be _very_ smart to stay undercover.

Great video!! Was thinking, did you already make a video on what happens or could be happening, theories and all, after death?
