Typically 3/16 plate is the thickest material you want to use short circuit on because anything thicker is prone to lack of fusion. Better to use dual shield or pulse spray.

Im still waiting for him to show us how to Mig Weld🙇🏽

Hint run so hot that a slight pause causes blowouts! Perfect too hot is only a problem if your wire speed allows undercutting! Thick is easy thin is hard!

1 thing that I learned in my first year of school that a lot of newbie welders do is focus on the puddle and stay on the leading edge of it instead of looking at the point of your wire

You should also try pulling instead of pushing. I personally find it to be a lot better.

That's wrong what you explain bro. you can make a perfect weld with every voltage if you adjust the wire speed correctly

Always remember voltage and travel speed have a relationship and if you adjust one you must adjust the other

Nice demo, shows pretty well how each mistake looks, sounds, and feels like!

The prep job alone lets me know this is some garage type shit you’ll be in the big leagues one day bub 😂

High or low voltage is relative to wire speed and both to material thickness. See the little beads around the weld? Too hot. In a sentence? It’s all about puddle control.

The first mistake was calling it “MIG” instead of “MAG”, unless of course using “pure” argon or helium was the first mistake.
