Is Intel Meteor Lake cancelled? Right now, it looks like Intel 14th gen CPUs might be in a lot of trouble, as the upcoming Intel Meteor Lake-S CPUs may actually be cancelled. While we might still get Intel Meteor Lake mobile CPUs, Intel Meteor Lake desktop CPUs appear to be fully cancelled! What does that mean for Intel 14th gen and Intel CPUs in general?

14th Gen is primarily a laptop/mobile platform. Desktop will be a refresh of Raptor Lake.This has been publicly reported in many places. So no 14th gen isn't cancelled.

14th gen is going to be a refresh and will work on z790
15th gen will be a new socket.
q3/q4 we will see the 14th gen drop. I have confirmed this with several industry experts and sources who are always right about intel.

I got 9 gen i9 and I think I will wait till new 16 gen is released.

14th gen will squeeze out some more performance. I have a 13700k. I'll wait until 15th gen before deciding to upgrade. Unless 14th gen prices are low.
