The Beautiful Life of Queen Elizabeth II

There was an odd sound from the churches of England on September 9th that most of the English population hadn’t heard ever in their life before. As muffled bells tolled for the first time in nearly seventy-one years, the country drowned in mourning. A beloved monarch, a caring grandmother, and a witty human being was no more.
Queen Elizabeth lived a long and fulfilling life trying her best to be a champion of people despite her demure stature. People mostly knew her only as a queen of an empire, head of a troubled royal family, and a somewhat controversial figure but there is more to the departed and beloved monarch of England, Scotland, and Wales.
How did she do more than her duty as a princess during the second world war? Which American Presidents she befriended and which she trolled? What unique collections she held that made her extremely human?

Welcome to Nutty History, and today let’s find out little-known facts you didn’t know about Queen Elizabeth the Second, Rest in Peace.

I'm an American combat Vet. (U.S. Army 505th PIR 82nd Airborne). During my service I had the opportunity to train alongside members of the British Airborne. We were learning advanced night combat tactics used in various types of climate and terrain. I believe these Brit Airborne Troops we're from the Second Parachute Battalion or "2 PARA" as they might say. During the 5 week course I developed a good friendship with these Brit Paratrooper Brothers and I found them to be in top physical shape, tough, disciplined, and mentally strong. They certainly lived up to their old motto, "UTRINQUE PARATUS", which means, "READY FOR ANYTHING!" It was from these amazing British Troops that I learned a bit about their patriotism, and also their admiration and affection for Her Majesty, Elizabeth ll and the Royal Family. And, much of what your great video reported was told to me by these wonderful Brits. From this I developed a respect, admiration, and affection for Queen Elizabeth ll. And, I also became something of an Anglophile. Altogether, the late Queen was an awesome person.
At a very young age the heavy responsibility and obligation of the British Throne was placed on Her shoulders. And, despite what some uninformed people may think, the weight of the British Throne is a lot heavier than you may think. It is definitely Not an EASEY lifelong occupation. However, Elizabeth ll carried out Her Royal Duties with dignity, grace, and gentle diplomacy.
Truly, Elizabeth ll was a living National Treasure. So, I Thank the producers and writers of "Nutty History" with a heart full of appreciation and respect for Your excellent video report on the Life of the gracious British Queen, Elizabeth ll. BRAVO!

I'm a black America but think it's hypocritical to hate a woman that, herself, had nothing to do with the actions of what she inherited. I respect her Legacy and may she rest in peace. The world's changing but we don't do that by hating people simply because of their birth.

At 3:22 the narrator says the Queen Elizabeth's father was George IV.
This is wrong.
Her father was George VI.

The Queen terrorizing the crown prince of Saudi Arabia with her driving is one of my absolute favorite stories about this woman. It says a lot about the type of person that she was, Rest In Peace, your majesty.

As an American I don't care one way or the other for the monarchy. We cut those lines long ago. However, I have respect for the late Queen. She was tough, and I respect that.

Queen Elizabeth seemed quite interesting. I live in the United States, but I was always fascinated by the way she carried herself. She seemed modest and humble. She loved animals too!!! I was definitely quite saddened when the death of the queen was announced. May she rest in the sweetest of peace! 👑👸👑👸

Rest in peace mother. I can't speak for Canada in its entirety, but I appreciate the message you sent personally to my grandmother on her 60e anniversary of marriage. This wasn't from her secretary, this was directly from her magesty.

When she broke with long herd tradition during the changing of the guard on September 12, 2001 she wanted the United States national anthem played to show her support for the US after 9/11. I mourn her loss as an American and wish a peaceful crossing across the Veil. )O(
