My best tip for players is that in order to forage across the map, create a growing zone over wild trees, bushes, ambrosia, and herbal medicine, then disable "allow sowing". The colonists will go to that growing zone and harvest fully mature plants but they won't plant anything themselves.

I recommend turning off "Expand Home Zone" though, otherwise your colonists will go there and try to clean it or fight fires in it.

You can also see the beauty of a room by holding down the alt key while haing your mouse in a room and open the wildlife tab by pressing f5

@noobert I am pretty sure stone chunks don't interfere with wind turbines. I was just playing before watching your video and I had my chunks on my wind turbines and they could still reach the maximum power of 3450W.
Edit: when something is blocking the turbine it will say when you select it, like "blocked by roof" or "blocked by oak tree".

I have 588 hours (more including offline to let people use my library) in rimworld, legit 1:37 didn't know stone blocks didn't deteriorate outside

If you don't have colonist with art skill, planting flower on dirt floor is a decent way to raise beauty
