kinda mixed the beginning, there were a few misconceptions and you forgot about very strong talk between Mary and court psychologist where was mentioned my favourite sentence: "He wanted me before I was smart"
this entire court part is so heartbreaking and really just showing how unfair life can be.

The fact that the grandmother stole the little girl's cat says that she didn't give a damn about what either her daughter or granddaughter wanted I'm their lives

How horrible. A child's emotional needs are considered less than their intellectual needs. They grow up, there is time for intellectual growth, but their emotional needs and feelings of abandonment by those the court deems not worthy to care them, will scar them forever.

I stopped this at around the 2:15 mark to post this. I was pulled from public school when barely in 4rth grade "teacher abuse". I was home schooled for about a year then ran from "home for the final time at the age of 14. It started at 11. When I was 16 I was working for an engineering firm, surveying crew, as an instrument man & my boss realized I could double angles in my head "pissed him off, don't know why". I could also go bowling without a score sheet & keep score for multiple people (up to 5). I was told I was doing Trigonometry by one of the engineers where I was working but I don't remember what I was doing at that time to make him say it. Passed my GED at 17. Got my Degree in Automotive Technology through a home course when I was 22 hoping to take good care of my then wife & new child. Realized I could speedread " (hope I spelled that right lol) was told that's what I was doing" at the age of 23. I'm disabled now because of physical limitations (mostly back issues). I don't understand why I have such a hard time with technology, even my phone. God Bless those that are misunderstood! I vented, stupid, sorry.

This girl filmed in many movies as a almost emotionless person. She is good at it

Frank's other job as Captain America kept him from being the great dad he should've been.🤣

Captain America Chris starred with her. The girl did not want to tell the professor how she solved an impossible maths because her stage father told her awhile ago not to show off. But when asked why she never wanted to show the answer to an impossible maths puzzle she replied "I didn't want to be a smart ass".

McKenna Grace is such a cutie pie! Can't believe she was just 12 when she played Sabrina in season 1!

Not sure if someone mentioned this before, but that last bit always got me. The sister wanted it published post mortem... just not after her own death.

Thanks for giving GIFTED some exposure, but this movie needs to be seen. The hospital scene needs to be seen. It's beautiful.
