There are 3 words I can say to sum up this whole video in about 2 secs… PREVENT LIFESTYLE CREEP!
Seriously, that’s it, k thanks for watching.
But no seriously, growing up in our society, we are constantly being told to buy the new car, upgrade to the nicer bigger home, spend spend spend when in all reality, at the end of the day when we lay our heads on our pillow at night for some weird reason, we still aren’t happy.
I still remember when I was working my 9 to 5 the worst part of my day was before I had to go into work. For a few reasons, I am a father of 2 but at the time I only had my son.
Talk about dropping him off at day care and him crying bc he didn’t want me to leave. It broke my heart. That was the best motivation I could have ever received.

I knew right out of college that the corporate 9 to 5 lifestyle was not for me.
If you enjoy your 9 to 5 then you have won! Congrats to you! There is nothing wrong with enjoying that. But for me, it wasn’t what I wanted

So what did I do? What do you do to try and get out and have that freedom? Well, lets get into it:

1. Look at Your Expenses
63% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck
• You have to pay attention to where your money is going
• Create a budget
• Write down everything you spend for the month and categorize it

2. Slow and Steady wins the race
• Talk about my first passive income video
• Read books
• $1 dollar at a time
• Start with interest from your bank account, then buy a stock, then buy a rental property, then flip a home, then start a business

3. Become obsessed with hitting your goal
a. This is all I would think about. I still am on the journey to becoming financially independent.
b. Make the goal!

4. You have to work hard
a. The dreams are built on nights and weekends
b. Think of something that can earn you money

5. Online business
a. In my opinion an online business is one of the best things you can start
b. If you have a passion, monetize it

I work 12hrs shift job average 50-70 hrs a week it was the only way I can pay bills and invest so I can retire early 🤞🏼

Agree 100% JJ, I started cutting grass in my neighborhood at 12-15 then started flipping items ages 15-16, then at around age 16 learned some mechanics with Atvs, dirtbike and now runs a successful flipping business at age 18 (which is my age now) bought my first home/investment, in August last year. And going to flip it. We all have to start somewhere usually small.
