When "grilling " direct is the most common method I use. When grilling. But not always. Beginners should be cautious. But eventually you need to take off the training wheels and go for it. The trick is learning just how much fuel you actually need. When you master the amount of fuel needed you won't have much if any fuel left over at the end of a cook. Although it is better to have a little left at the end than to run short. You made a good video here Johnny. 👏 🔥😋

Hey there my friend how are you doing? this is your boy Tim Williams and I've always enjoyed watching you giving lessons on Barbecuing.

I plan to barbecue Chicken on the Weber Kettle Grill and I'd like to know can I do direct grilling if so how many minutes does it take and what temperature should the Chicken reach to ?

if you have a video of that please let me know. thank you brother and may God bless you. 🙏🏾

Bingeing your videos you explain everything very well thank you. Im sitting here realizing i never save the charcoal and let it burn out with the bottom vent open. What a waste.

To clean the grates you can use half onion deep in vegetable onion.

Yeah, my least favorite too. I don't even use it anymore. I used to spread charcoal all out evenly. But then I'd get multiple dead cold zones. I think think the meat drippings were putting out some briquettes or something. It would be so frustrating. Now i just fill my two baskets and go with the dual zone. So easy to control whats cooking quick and what is slowing coming up to temp or staying warm after getting some searing on the hot zone.
