For anything over 1000 watts, especially in an aluminum frame, you need torque arms on both sides. They are not just a failsafe or an afterthought. They are crucial to your survival. Preferably not the universal torque arms supplied by the kit manufacturers because those don't really work. You need torque arms that are one piece and either bolt directly to the frame/dropout or can be hose clamped. The universal torque arms will not stop rotation enough to keep your dropouts from breaking. The best thing to do, if you're good with DIY is make your own. I say again, torture arms are a non negotiable.

Another great video, you definitely got better at building e-bikes since your start on YouTube, round here in Birmingham police are stopping ebikes and if home made or more the 250watt, 15.5Mph they are taking the bikes and getting done for riding an illegal bike, we got to be very careful now.
