Bugs on the Skin?! 🐛 #shorts

Показать описание
Yes, we all have bacteria, yeast, and mites on our skin! These organisms are actually pretty important and contribute to a healthy skin microbiome. There’s no need to treat these organisms unless they’re actually causing issues!

However, in some people, this demodex mite takes over and can cause issues with the skin

Demodex overgrowth can contribute to:
-Demodex folliculitis (red bumps on the skin)
-Demodex blepharitis (inflammation of the eyelid)
-Rosacea

Treatments:
-Soolantra (prescription)
-Permethrin
-Sulfur
-Tea tree oil (caution with allergy)

For people grossed out or worrying, they’re not your enemy, they’re just you body citizens, you have many more and they all contribute in some way or another 🙂

Not just our faces but our whole bodies.

Yes most people have them. I had Rosacea and I researched. It didn't freak me out after seeing it a bit. The best is to wash at night and use invermectin cream as they come out on your face while you sleep because they like darkness more. Then wash your skin in the morning and use oil free moisturiser. Do it for at least 3-6weeks every night to kill their life cycle. Then I use it 1-2 times every week. Hope that helps.

I guess my cousin was right when he said he felt bugs coming out of his face, we just thought it was the meth.

The only humans without those mites are newborns, but they show up very shortly after birth.

I’m gonna start naming them, like “hey Richard, careful round the follicles.”

That explains the random crawling feeling we get at one point.

I'm going to pretend this is just some highly-detailed, highly-intricate lie.

Shout out to all the homies with Rosacea who just found out that their skin condition is caused by bugs in their skin. Stay strong, y’all

These mites feed on Sebum, our skin's natural moisturizer and literally live in our pores. Disgusting but that's Nature and atleast I'm not dying alone.

This gives the expression " I'm crawling under my skin" a whole new meaning
