They probably should take ques from ASUS's old Fonepad line and make the Gen2 have the connection points for the magnets.etc be in the back of the device (In a large/open cutout for maximum compatibility)

Was tempted by this but I ended up getting a Uperfect X 14 inch for the same price. Bigger screen with a battery and keyboard makes it much better value.

The price being around $250 makes it a no for me . I'm going assume this is more meant for the size as I can get (well have) a bigger portable monitor for the same price.

This is exciting. I strong believe in a future where our phone is our computer (for non techy people), and we get home and dock it to use as a desktop, dock it into a clamshell to be a laptop etc... Already they have all the computing power a large percent of the population needs.

No internal battery with that giant chin? ! That seems an absolute waste of space and missed opportunity for appeal. Guarantee most people that were to buy this will inherently expect that giant chin to have a battery in it. Seems an epic fail, IMO. Short sighted design.

I think this might have to be part of my arsenal, thank you for this video! Trying to get myself ready for doing convention tables again and definitely could benefit my productivity. The fact that it is touch screen too is the cherry on top.

The smarter thing would have been to insert the phone behind the screen like a tape cassette. That way they could of increased the screen size a little bit more. Plus it would make the concept slicker all around. Just saying.

It would be nice to see how this compares to other touch portable monitors and how cost effective it is. Looking to buy one of these but so far not decided.

The truth is that this monitor makes sense, I had not thought about having the desktop mode and also used as a secondary screen.

Honestly this is an amazing product. I just wish buying the Dock or the laptop was an easier experience since some of us are not in Europe or the US.

For that just buy a tablet, the experience it's worse than a tablet, you use the same space on your backpack. Don't make too much sense to me

Practicality wise, you can get a high end tablet for a couple hundred dollars more. The only reason I can think that you will need this is to expand the capabilities of your super highend gaming cellphone to take advantage of the raw power in a bigger screen.
