How to Clean Your Xbox One Fan at Home

This is an easy tutorial guide for beginners, or anyone wanting to clean the inside of their Xbox themselves, as after a while, dust can build up and cause overheating issues and other problems.
I try and make this an easy Xbox One teardown video anyone can follow at home. 😁

In case you're not comfortable opening it up:
Just holding a vacuum cleaner on full power on top of the intakes also works quite well, I've done it before watching this video, and ended up still opening and being pleasently surprised at how well the vacuum worked

Awesome vid mate, I can build pc's but I've always been wary of messing with consoles. This gave me the confidence to strip down and clean my grandson's XBox1, it's now SO much quieter. His dad's a smoker so don't even ask about the state of the fan and heatsink....

My fan started making noise.

Worked like a charm I accidentally disconnected some wires but was able to put them back. Turned on Xbox and was a black screen after troubleshoot, I unplugged Xbox from wall held the power button down 30 seconds and it started right up. Thanks again !

Appreciate the vid! Took mine apart today, cleaned the fans, and my clicking noise was gone. It’s a chore to take this thing apart though and put back together. Especially that power button ribbon cable.

Great video but for future users add how you got the sync button strip on the front reconnected. Took me a ton of time and frustration lol

It is super easier to put back the case if you pop the front off the plastic clips. Set the front in place. Lock in the back and side clips. Then tuck the front clips under the top of the case.

Done this took a bit of time to get case back on, my power button doesn't work now so may have knocked it. But power on via controller works fine. Thank you for the video seems to running great so far(should add i fixed the power button issue as described in the video with the little tab connector) happy to say all back to normal and not sounding like a jet taking off under my tv
