Here in Europe, there are really only three good value options right now: 13 Pro, as they cost about the same as the regular 14 line; the regular 13 or 13 mini, but only if one can find them on discount, which is pretty common; and the 11, since those didn't change in prices, heck, they're even cheaper now, than the 3rd gen SE! I know I know, we keep mentioning how we got screwed over with prices in our region, but we can't help it! The 14 line, even the Pros with their upgrades, are horrible value right now, even for those who can pay it!

13 pro might be the best value iPhone you can buy rn

I just upgraded to the 13 mini after the price drop. I love more compact phones. I was coming from the 2020 SE which was my first iPhone (after 10 years of Android and WebOS). I was testing the waters to see if I liked the platform. I have been very happy so decided to upgrade to the little powerhouse that is the 13 mini.

Been great so far

I switched to iPhone in March of this year, a refurbished 11 Pro from eBay. My 256GB model costed ~$400 with some deep scratches on the screen, almost cracks. I do not regret it. My brain has mostly blocked out the scratches and it still has excellent performance, not perfect but still really good. The battery has been at 88% ever since I bought it, even with fast charging 24/7. The battery life is pretty good, though definitely could be better.

Using the iPhone 12 Pro Max since December, 2020. Still has 89% battery capacity and runs great!

Verizon offered me $800 trade in for my iPhone XS Max with a cracked screen, plus 36 months interest free financing.

So I decided to get the iPhone 14 Pro Max 512 gb and my phone bill is only going up $15 a month.

I wasn’t planning on getting a new iPhone this year, but it was too good of a deal to pass up.

I got a 2nd hand iPhone 12 a few weeks back for £300 and it’s absolutely perfect for me honestly. I would recommend checking out your local 2nd hand market too anyone because there are some amazing deals too be found as long as your careful 😊

Upgraded from a 2020 SE to the 14 pro. What a night and day difference just the camera upgrade makes the money worth it to me.

Got my iPhone SE (2022) in like new condition last night. No flaws and for only $150 on OfferUp. I'm getting the same A15 chip as the 13 series and non-Pro 14s.

If you can deal with the outdated design, getting an SE3 for under $200 is the best deal you can find today. I personally hate Face ID as I use my phone a lot in the dark. I drive at night for work. And the notch can get in the way when watching movies or TV shows.

I'm not a big iPhone fan. I only got it because I nearly threw away my Razr 5G by accident. It slipped into a garbage bag after I was cleaning my car's interior and I had to retrieve it from the bin I threw it in. I'll keep my Razr 5G mostly at home for a year since it isn't fully paid off.

SE3 will be my main phone for a year or until House of the Dragon airs in 2024. This will be the last to offer a home button and perhaps Touch ID. The SE4 will look more like the XR with likely the same A15 chip. I had a 12 mini and just HATED Face ID. And games like Forgotton Anne don't play properly on phones with Face ID.

The swipe up gesture can ruin the experience as that also is the same gesture for volume or brightness for Netflix. It's weird that my $150 SE3 has become my most powerful phone I own when I'm only using it temporarily as a main phone for a year. Offers better value than a Duo 1 at the same price.

Even though I'm no iOS fan, if you can spend only $150 on an SE3 with 100% battery health, that's a good investment knowing you will get software support for a minimum of 5 to 6 years. You only need to upgrade twice per decade. A15 will be a beast for years to come if two generations of iPhones used it.

SE3 might be the most underrated iPhone ever made and more people will appreciate it once they realize they hate Face ID and the notch like I do or miss the home button. SE3 will be the last of the mid-2010s classic iPhone design. The SE4 looking like a XR will make us miss Touch ID and appreciate the SE3 once SE4 is released next year.

No SIM card so for travelers, the 14 models are a 'no'.

If you are watching this in the early stages of the 14 launch, definitely look at the 13 pro and pro max. At my carrier store they are discounted by $100. So you can get a 13 pro max for $999.99 or a 13 pro for $899.99 until inventory is gone.

I'm upgrading to an iPhone 14 Pro 256GB Gold this Friday from an iPhone 11 128GB PRODUCT(Red) and I can't wait. The 11 is feeling slightly old by this point, I've had it for 2 full years and it's at 86% battery health. I think I'm gonna love the 14 Pro. First time I've ever not got the most budget option offered.

Try to look for an open box iPhone on eBay. I paid $390 for a perfect iPhone 12 Mini back in May and it’s under the Apple warranty until next January.
I love small phones but I have to agree with Josh that the SE is way overpriced for what it is

I picked up the 13 Pro Max about 6 weeks ago, 256GB model. I get carrier discounts due to my work and while I like the deep purple 14 pros, I like the sierra blue just a little more!

Watching this from my iPhone 14 Pro after upgrading from my 11 and I’m loving it!

The only reason i got the 14 Pro was because i gave my 13 pro to my mom. She was upgrading from the SE 2020, so she is loving the OLED screen and high refresh rate even though she has no idea what those things are haha.

I just got a good deal on the 13PM. In my country, the 14 Pros (which I initially wanted to upgrade to) was VERY expensive, it cost even more than the 13 Pros when they were released last year. I got the 13PM 256GB for $1198, while the equivalent 14PM costs nearly $1700. It’s even cheaper than the base 14PM which costs nearly $1500, and it’s still even slightly cheaper than the base 14 Pro which costs $1250 - $1300😭😭😭 (prices above are converted to USD)
