iPhone 15 Buyer's Guide - DON'T BE FOOLED!

The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro are finally here I want to do a buyer's guide on both of these phones because while both phones now look the same there are actually still a lot of small differences between these phones that I think a lot of people might overlook like software differences between the 48 megapixel camera systems, USB-C port differences, different designs, and other feature differences you need to know about like which phone actually has the biggest battery inside of it.

If the base model had pro motion, it would be the perfect buy for ppl who dont care about cameras. It's actually surprising how close pros and nonpros are now.

This was the clearest and best organized video I’ve seen about the new phones so far. I haven’t upgraded in over 3 years, so getting the 15 Pro (and I’ll probably sprint for the Max) is a big bump for me. I used to work for Apple, and would get the new phone every year, and would lose myself in the plethora of tech specs and nuances of the devices. You provided plenty of nuance, while never losing sight of the broad strokes that lie at the heart of this exciting decision. Thank you!

I think the base iPhones would benefit from variable refresh rate even if it were still capped at 60. Just being able to go between 1 and 60 would make it the undisputed king of battery life

I got a 12 pro max a few years ago, traded that in and got 1000 dollars credit for it. Just got the 15 pro max for 200 dollars. This is possibly the greatest out of box phone to exist. The features actually make this one feel like a genuine upgrade and worth the price they're asking for finally. I didn't own a 13 and 14 pro model so I wouldn't know if everything is new. But transfer speeds this high, charging is faster, pictures are better, the 120hz screen, little bit more ram to play around with now, this is nice.

For me all that matters is screensize, weight and battery life and the 15 Plus checks all these boxes :D

Currently have a XR that is still *kind of running!! Always told myself my next upgrade would be when they finally get USB-C. It’s kind of funny hearing people be disappointed with this release because everything on the Pro is better than my phone lol. Waiting a few years was definitely worth the wait. Plus I still have a *kind of working back up phone!

The difference between 60Hz and 120 Hz is almost negligible in 15 and 15 Pro, thanks to the iOS design. I went with iPhone 15 hence. Totally satisfied. I am especially happy with the super light weight and battery life of the regular IPhone 15.

I have the XS, and usually only upgrade every 5 years. I don't play games on phones and I don't take many photos. I was thinking on upgrading to the 15 Pro just because of the processor and to future proof! But now I'm thinking on the 15 Plus!

I have the iPhone XR, and I’ve been deadset on upgrading to the next iPhone whenever it had USB-C and seeing how the camera features would be on the next pro models. Waiting was worth it, and it seems like I’m leaning towards the 15 Pro Max, even if it’s gonna be an adjustment in terms of phone size compare to my XR.

After seeing the supposed gaming capabilities of the A17 Pro (with hardware ray tracing and stuff alongside the announced AAA game ports), I’m actually more hyped on how the next generation iPad Pros with M3 are gonna perform. They’re probably gonna be absolute monsters.

So unbelievably helpful! As a recent graduate with an old google pixel 4a, who wants to switch to iPhone, I didn't want to splash out on the pro models yet but nearly everyone tells me only the pro phones are worth it. This reassured me that the iPhone 15 is just fine for me so thanks.

iPhone 15 and 15 Plus looks way more appealing this year than last. What’s up with these dreadfully boring colors on the Pro’s??? It’s almost like Apple wants us (the consumers) to buy the 15 and not the Pro’s. I guess they figure they’re more likely to sell higher quantities of the “cheaper” iPhone. Apple, please make the Pro color-way more enticing next year for 16 please!

I JUST got the regular iPhone 15, and I personally love it. The only issue I have is that it gets slightly warm when I charge it, so I let it charge to 100% before I go to bed and take it off the charger. But other than that it’s a great phone and I recommend getting it if you plan to trade it in, which will end up being cheaper than just buying the phone all by itself. It also all depends on the add-ons you get with it
