When I cleaned out our sheep pens, I would put down a couple of bags of barn lime to help dry out the pens and help get rid of germs.

It is also nice to be content with the size and scale that y'all are at. Bigger isn't always better.

After I got out of college and was working full time, I still lived right by my neighbors who had a very large grain, straw and hay operation. I worked there almost full time during high school and college, baling and moving small bales of hay mostly, with some tractor and field work, which I got paid I think was back then about $3-4 per hour. After college, I would work there evenings, late afternoons and weekends, as well as alot of holidays off, mainly because I enjoyed the work and their family were really my family too. I rarely ever got paid for this time, mostly because I would forget to give them my hours, but the main reason was I just enjoyed the time working for them, and loved farming. If I were your neighbor now, I would ask to work with you all as much as possible and not take a dollar for the work, because your kind of farming would make me feel like I had just the best job in the world, and nothing would be better than just learning from you all and being able to contribute to your operation.

Another awesome video. I wish my dad and I could have worked together so nicely. It was a struggle for sure. Can't wait to see what spring brings for you guys.

Y'all need to raze everything, put in robotic milkers for 240 head, automate everything, and increase volume. Or better yet, keep doing what you love doing, living the way y'all choose to, and keep making wonderful videos! The great part about farming is that everyone can do it however they want to, and I enjoy watching how y'all do it. 👍👍

I really like your setup. Expand with biys renting or purchasing other nearby farms when they can

Another day another taxable dollar. Hopefully everyone stays healthy in these damp spring conditions. Love that calf hutch on concrete is a great idea.

Having similar hilly terrain for me, I can relate to the fact there is pretty much "one way" to lay things out. The water runoff does dictate how we place outbuildings, driving paths, etc. You guys are doing great with the way you have it LOL none of us are getting any younger George :) Feeling good most days, love to work also, but then you turn the wrong way and "ack!". Keep moving but don't over do it.
