setting 2 gigs for the gc buffer won't do anything if you don't have enough ram. Only do this if you have 16 gigs or more. Also gc buffer won't affect all around fps, it will just make it so that the gc "buffers" less often (since it can store more, according to whatever size you set it), which makes stutters appear less often. maxgibs is more of an edge on your opponent than it is a frame boost, because you can instantly see them if they're behind a wall that broke in a raid.
