How to Install a Toilet

You probably already own all the tools required. You’ll need two adjustable wrenches or one wrench and a large slip-joint pliers and a screwdriver. Some toilets include installation parts. Check the box to see what’s included. You’ll need a wax ring, two toilet bolts, a tube of caulk to seal around the base of the toilet, and a new braided stainless steel supply line. Here’s how to do it.

So, the 'flange' isn't attached to the floor??? Our bowl has become a bit wobbly and so I tightened the bolts mounting the toilet; this made zero difference, and if the flange is not attached to the floor, I can see why. That being the case, I suppose there is no proper way to avoid the toilet wobble we're now experiencing. Dang.

The extra washer and bolts is a great tip! My toilet easily moves from side to side because those bolts move easily. Gross

You're supposed to measure from the wall to the center of the flange. The standard distance is 12" but you just got ~11" the way you measured. Otherwise you did good.

My comode fix to the flow cant understand .because it not see any nut or screw .now problem is it inlet hours broke .how is instol not known any technicians .pl help

How about you just hire a plumber you can trust in your home. Make sure your plumber is fully insured with liability…
Us plumbers want to get in and out period.. We need to make money here.. The more time we waste the more money we loose.. A good plumber is an asset.. Does what needs to be done and does not sell you what you do not need….
