Multi tools are meant to help you in a pinch. If people are solely relying on that when they go camping they need better gear. Idk just my opinion. Never had problems with the Signal though.

I think the ferro rod is a little small, it could be better if you could remove a blade to strike it with the rod being retained, but it's more a comfort thing than anything though.

i found it to be small and a little soft so i replaced it with a bit holder.

In my opinion this tool is absolutely overrated. For me the wavy edge fors a huge disadvantage. If the tool wokld be availible with a straight edge it World be a great Tool.
