Looking forward to trying the Signal out. Looks like a great backpacking tool.

It would be ideal if you stuck a flashlight and tweezers in it. Then it would really be a unique, compact, versatile and useful multitool. A true multi-tool for survival.

And even though the flashlight would not be particularly powerful, as in Victorinox. But he is. And even one lumen can be very, very useful.

p.s.
And it is better to process the metal to a mirror shine. Can only be done on one side of the lining. This is a very useful function, firstly as a signal mirror, and secondly, if something gets into the eye, it will be very convenient to use the same tweezers to pull out the splinters and glass.

I mostly love my signal, I carry it every day and it’s a nice tool for warehouse work, but the knife blade is the one weak point. I decided that I would rather have a wave blade in my signal than keep the warranty.

I own LM Surge past 7 yrs, and I realised I do not need any other tool as EDC. Adding ferrous rod in same pouch, gerber para frame small, small bits, jig blades mini pen flash light and go to woods.

Id rather have heavy shears instead of pliers. What needs pliers in the wilderness?! I know its leathermans schtick but it makes bo sense

I personally love mine. My wife and daughter bought me one for father’s day. I use to carry a Benchmade blade but now I carry this lovely piece. I never realized how much useful it is to have that much tooling on my person.

Im very disappointed in this product, my blade doesn't open all the way it gets stuck half way through opening it I've tried everything to fix it but nothing works. Wouldn't recommend buying

I really don't get it. These knife makers have absolutely no clue what someone outdoors actually needs. No, I don't need my tool to double as a carabiner. I don't need a combo blade either. I wish they spoke to someone who does actually need this for outdoor situations. Wanna make a camping / bushcrafting knife, put a bigger rod in, make the blade actually a blade, add a wood carving scoop, a more able drilling tool... ...

I once met a guy who had a Signal. It confirmed all my suspicions; it's a dollar store toy pretending to be a multitool. It's the only Leatherman tool about which I can say that I like nothing about it. The saw isn't bad, I guess.
