I have gotten so much use of my signal while hiking and being outdoors. I wish we could use them as daily carry here in sweden because i would have it on me all the time

I was looking for knife and toolset for my outdoors- for hiking and treking.
The Signal has not scissors- I don't want to hike without scissors.
I purchased the Surge, becauce there are scissors and changeable saw. But... Surge weights so much! I prefer left it at home. It rests on my shelf. Now I hike with my SAK Handyman. There are excellent scissors, saw, file and small pliers, too. And Handyman weights only ~150 grams.
I am waiting when Leatherman would invent lightweight multitool with scissors and changeable saw which cost a halfprice of ARC.
ARC has crazy price- I dont want spend so crazy money for multirool.
P. S. I am women and I live in Europe. I have 10 different Victorinox knives. I will purchase one more, if Leatherman would offers something lightweight with scissors and changeable saw. Not so crazy expensive as ARC.

I realized in all this years using multi tools
That, in my case, a scissor it is more useful that a pliers, that makes me start using a Rocon KS2 Elite with D2 blade and it is really amazing and very affordable. ❤

Im sorry, i think its too much of a gimmick and i prefer my rebar over the signal for outdoors. The rebar is simple, doesn’t have detachable parts, way less moving parts than the signal, and also the ease of maintaining. I still think the signal is a cool looking multitool, but for its price and gimmicks i don’t think its the best for outdoors

I have a swisstech mt another surge clones. that's the closest I have to victorinox. Nothing at all

I also have a red signal. Mine is so scratched and beat up from years of use that seeing a brand new one was jarring for me.
