🎮 What's this game?
HELLDIVERS™ 2 is a 3rd person squad-based shooter that sees the elite forces of the Helldivers battling to win an intergalactic struggle to rid the galaxy of the rising alien threats. From a 3rd person perspective, players use a variety of weapons (pistols, machine guns, flamethrowers) and stratagems (turrets, airstrikes, etc.) to shoot and kill the alien threats. Players can also aim down the sights for a more accurate 1st person camera view. Combat is accompanied by frequent sprays of blood and dismemberment as players exterminate the alien forces or players and squad mates are hit by environmental explosions or friendly fire. Enemy encampments and battlefield environments depict bloodstains and dismembered corpses.

absolutely nothing needs to change on the commando besides the bug where it doesn't know its empty. LEAVE MY FUCKING FUN ALONE DAMNIT. YOU FINALLY ADD SOMETHING FUN AND YOU IMMEDIATELY SAY YOU'RE GONNA FUCK IT UP. LEARN YOUR LESSON

the ONLY reason i'd accept a commando nerf of ANY kind is if AH had it require a near-hit to the usual locations rather than a hit from anywhere.
No double-taps, no cooldown nerffs, no changes to projectile, just make it need to be aimed a little bit more for the same effect.

that way the eagle100/spear/strikes and the many and various other anti-spawners won't also be on the chopping block because THOSE are already more effective, lower/similar cooldown, more damaging AND better versus non-spawner targets for the most part.

The very idea of nerfing the commando is insane.

So they are willing to nerf the weapons and stratagems we use but they are going to not going to nerf the bloody bots and bugs, shield devastators are by far the most broken and can shoot you non-stop, their projectile will aslo go through their shields (i.e blindspot) if you try to flank them.

Literally just the best thing they could do is just buff the dumb fire rocket launchers to one shot fabricators from anywhere

Rather than nerf the commando just bring the other rocket launchers up to it’s level

It's so damn frustrating when all they do is complain "people only use 1 meta build and we want them to use different stuff and tactics" while at the same time doin BS like nerfing the commando when it sat perfectly in the middle between the spear and EAT... now it's going to get nerfed so bad that it will become unusable/never touched again and then AH/Sony will go back to complaining that "no one fights bots and only use 1 meta build but keep giving us feedback about what you like" only to see it nerfed within a week or so of it becoming popular. Don't try and force people to play the game "you think is the way it should be played" and let the damn players play how they want to! It's a fantasy game about blowing up robots and bugs in a galactic warfare where we are supposed to have extremely powerful weapons and abilities to fight these enemies and they just keep killing all the good strat's, weapons, and everything else while continuing to add more enemies that can only be killed with the same 2-3 "meta" support weapons, thereby forcing the exact situation AH complains about and also makes the game stale as hell SUPER fast!

The commando is perfect how it is. Being able to wipe out a heavy bot outpost with just 2 commandos is an orgasmic feeling. bumping the hits to kill up to 2 would ruin the entire experience. Leave our commando alone, Arrowhead.

If the Commando gets nerfed the nobody is going to use it ever again. It is less reliable than the spear + less damage. It is more efficient than EATs and Recoiless Rifle and to be a fabricator slayer is what makes the commando not just stand out but unique. I also like the fact you can laser guide one or multiple rockets depending on the enemy you are dealing with.

If i can make a suggestion, put the data mining leaks and spoilers at the end of the video instead of the middle.

Just give every support based rocket stratagem the ability to knock out structures. Spear/quasar at the top with 1 hit, RR/EAT at 2 hits and commando at 3 hits at any angle.

It absolutely makes it a lot better they’re listening to us and considering our input. I don’t use the commando but my opinion would be to leave it alone for the community. We don’t have hardly any viable weapons or supports as is in my opinion. I’ve got 500 hours in game also .

Thing about the commando if they keep it as it is though: why the hell would I use literally any other rocket stratagem like it?

It makes all other rocket (like the quasar) stratagems very underpowered as taking out fabs quickly is honestly the most important, you could argue damage and reload time but if everyone has one that really isn't an issue - with the quasar having the only positive of infinite ammo, which with the faster restock times that we have now it's gone from 'meh but useful for just in case' to just plain...meh.
