No one enjoys budgeting - its arduous, long and boring; but according to almost every financial guru, its a MUST! But I disagree; so here's 5 steps I use to manage my money like a prop, without actually budgeting - and you can too.

I personally do some retro-budgeting where I look at my expenses of last 6-9 months to have an idea of what my budget should be in the future. I try more or less to stick to it without becoming stingy

Oh one more thing, DON'T subscribe to anything on a 7 day trial and forget to cancel your subscription if you can't afford it 😭 I lost a lot of my savings by subscribing to multiple sites and forgetting which ones I have to unsubscribe from. I remembered which ones when I saw the money deducted from my account.😭

When it comes to "getting yourself onto the housing ladder" this requires detailed reflection. This approach seems to lock Muslims into a ruined financial system for most of their lives. Other options, overseas for instance, need to be seriously considered. In terms of affordability, investment and deen.
