Mass Effect 3 - How to get the BEST ENDING (Ultimate Legendary Edition Quick-Guide)

You wanted a video on how to get the best possible ending in Mass Effect 3 (Legendary Edition ofcourse), so i've made a sort of quick-guide for you. I have not detailed every single war asset as that'd make too long of a video.

This is ofcourse applicable for the Synthesis ending and the Destroy ending where Shepard breathes/lives (the perfect ending).

Rewriting the geth heretics makes each Quarian fleet lose 50 points, so -150 in total. You lose -150 from the Geth fleet if you destroy the heretics. So it really doesn't matter.

I would love if we could have beaten the Reapers without building the catalyst. Just unite the entire galaxy and make no mistakes and your new army sweep through the entire reaper fleet again and again

Dude I’ve been playing Mass Effect 1 to 3 for a very long time and I have to say this is the best guide for ME War assets. Good job man. The only thing that confused me on my first Playthru of ME3 was the reputation system on the Citadel. Some “argument” decisions on the Citadel will either increase the Citadel defense force or decrease it.

In case anyone is wondering, you can get the perfect ending with 7600 war assets before the Cerberus HQ mission. Some people say that you can even with 7500, but at least get to 7600 just in case.

Lol when i first played mass effect 3 and ran into balak (the Batarian dude) I totally didn't remember him and was completely confused by the encounter.

Few misconceptions:
-You can still get the perfect ending without killing Kirrahe. It's not necessary to sacrifice our lineholding frog
-If you kill/let Aria kill Petrovsky, you still get those 30 WA, but it's Aria's hacker instead
-It's better to destroy the Geth Heretics. Makes achieving pece easier, and I don't believe it makes any difference when it comes to the final number of WA, since having less Geth means having more quarians. Also, in order to get the "Shep Brethes" ending, you need to choose Destroy, and this will kill all geth anyway, so you may as well save more quarians
-From what I understand, it's better to kill Wrex and let Eve die, so that you can convince Mordin to betray Wreve, giving you Krogan and Salarian WA. But you can definitely get the "perfect" ending with Wrex alive. Important part is that you should destroy Maelon's data *ONLY* if Wrex is dead.
-Also useful to choose paragon answers for Allers' interviews.
-You get a couple obscure WA by listening in on Citadel conversations. For example, after listening in on the entire smugglers' conversation in Purgatory after P:Citadel2, you can approve smuggler relief aid in the Specter Terminal. But careful, some others, like approving the gun for the PTSD soldier or the transfer for the soldier with the brother in Cerberus can get you to lose WA.
-The Specter Terminal is your best friend, it'll grant you access to a bunch of random WA

Best ending is destroy the star child was manipulating shepard to spare the reapers and the synthesis ending was prove of that so destroy is the only one I choose and shepard always lives if you play the series right and the geth and edi would understand that was the only way to deal with the reapers and my femshep needs to make little blue babies

Im pretty sure rewriting te get also loses you 150, you lose 50 from each of the 3 quarian fleets unless that was changed in legendary.

I saved Kirrahe, because "hold the line!". But I didn't try on my most recent playthrough and capped my war assets before I even finished the game (also 4 of 5 bars on paragon/renegade is what you need for peace)

Finished Mass Effect 3 today with the Shepard lives Destroy ending. I had 8398 War Assets.
