The flaw here is that Constantine later advocated for the Arianist theology but the early Christians did not change their position on Jesus being God. So the argument that the bishops agreed to placate Constantine is very questionable.

Constantine was baptized by an Arian Bishop, and the Arians were largely the ones who converted the German tribes.

Critics are always quick to say that the pope wasn't even at the council. But was constantine himself there?! You see, he wasn't and that doesn't prove anything. Fact is that the council reaffirmed and codified what was already orthodox.

So how do you know that the bishops "secretely" remained Arians and continued with that doctrine since its wide spread meant that changing the teaching in their various diocese would have been a very difficult task.

So then, what was the teaching of the apostles before the council?! Therein you'll find the truth. Then you'll realize that the council wasn't really saying anything new.

Unfortunately, this vid is filled with partial facts, spun to appear worse than reality.

For example, it is true that Sylvester (the Pope) did not attend the council. It’s not because it was kept separate from him or he from it, but because he was elderly and ill. He wouldn’t have survived the trip and the strain. He did however send envoys to argue on his behalf. So he was fully invested in the outcome.
