I'm helping my friend work on his 2005 BMW X3. Unfortunately he baught the car with around miles on it and the previous owner, it seems, sold it just in time. It's one problem after another.

I have a 2005 bmw X3 the radiator fan does work by way on scan tool. But it will not come on while driving. I've replaced the coolant temp sensor 2 which sits on the left side of the radiator, the fan still doesn't come on. I'll be replacing the other coolant sensor today hopefully some luck with the fan

Mine changes from test to
7304 1.1
When I press the button it changes number to 1.2, 1.3 and so on?

The gage on my instrument panel always seems to run a little hot. I would say at least 1/8 over. Does this test run seperate from the mechanical gage on the instrument panel?

Where it says_ _ 072 is that the temp of the coolant? Is it in Celsius?
