BMW makes you do the Peter Panda Dance to get any data

8:50 - I believe that's a correction constant for fuel consumption. If your computer is under- or overreading, you can correct it by changing this number

Menu Nr. 14 FS-Eintraege means error memory entries. As far as I know you can read the error codes which your car has. Google will tell you what they mean. Menu Nr. 20 is the correction factor for the computer to calculate the fuel consumption. You can set it higher than 1000 if it is computing too low, and lower than 1000 if it is computing too high. I mean if the display says 12 l/100km and in real it is only 9 l/100km the factor is wrong. In my 3 series it was 1134 instead of 1000 somehow, and the consumption was always shown higher than it really was.

I have question, i want to buy E90 and in my country its mostly took down KM by alot. I seen on your car it show working hours 1600 H, average speed around 50 km/h. So when you calculate its around 80-90k km. Your board say 190k km which say it was 120 km per hour average... So what's with that?

As coolant temp is available to be seen in hidden menu is it possible to code it to normal main menu somehow?? Did anyone tried it??

FS-Eintraege means how many errors it has in the memory.
Is there a way to put like the water-temp. into the main menu? I mewn the menunwhere you can go throuh it with the bc-button on the indicator?

So id done the code OFF part on 01 of the menu, then i go to the 07 part where he checks the temp and let go of the button the same as he does and it just goes back to the original screen of showing the time and under it says +24°C, is that my coolant temp or is my thermostat bad?
