The Qu'appelle Valley, Crooked Lake campground, Cannington Manor historical village, the Western Development Museum in Saskatoon... So much more.

Can’t believe they didn’t mention the Al Capone tunnels in Moose Jaw, Sask. These are underground tunnels ( that still exist )- where alcohol was bootlegged from Canada to the States during Prohibition. It’s a fun, interactive, flapper style tour taking you through the workings of transporting illegal booze from Canada to the States. Also they have the Chinese Tunnels. Should look it up you’d be pleasantly surprised.

I was born (73 years ago) and raised in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Currently living in San Francisco, California, I miss the warm breezes of the prairies (in the summer time) and the endless adventures of the beautiful Churchill River country. Thank you Tyler for featuring my home stomping grounds—your whole YouTube Canada series is wonderful and your kind, gentle demeanor very Canadian.

I was born in Moose Jaw . We used to joke that Saskatchewan was the only place in Canada where you could watch your dog run away for days as the land is so flat in certain areas. Side note, Al Capone tunnels are, or were, a tourist attraction in Moose Jaw and it is also the home of the Snow Birds.

I grew up in Saskatchewan. The southern part of the province is quite arid, yet there are miles and miles of grain fields. The northern and central parts of the province are heavily forested with many beautiful lakes and excellent fishing. Cypress Hills provincial park in SW Saskatchewan contains the highest point between Quebec and the Rocky Mountains. People in Saskatchewan are some of the friendliest people in the world. All in all, it was a great place to grow up. Thanks for your videos. I really enjoy them.

Great reaction Tylor. Check out a sitcom called, ”Corner Gas”. It was filmed in Regina and in a small Town near by. Very funny. It aired in the U.S.

Saskatchewan is the "breadbasket of the world". Wheat, canola rye, mustard seed (exported to France to make Dijon mustard) and #1 producer of pulse crops in the world (lentils, beans). Also our motto that appears on our license plate is "Land of Living Skies"

I've participated in the sunset ceremony at the RCMP depot. I was a member of a reenactment group organized by Parks Canada. We did side by side comparisons of drill and tactics: my group, as a late 1800s period NWMP (North West Mounted Police) troup section, and the RCMP cadets next to us showcasing in turn the modern command and drill equivalent. It was an honour and a lot of fun. We even got to stay the week in the depot itself as we trained and rehearsed, in their dorms. A great experience.

I'm a Saskatchewan girl!! I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now, and I was hoping you'd do one about SK! Most of those places I have been to, and they are beautiful 😊 I would also recommend Cypress Hills, the Crooked Trees, the Kenosee waterslides, the lighthouse in Cochin, Fort Carlton, Batoche, and the little town of Rosthern, especially in the summer 😊 Regina has an awesome laser tag centre and a fun climbing/high ropes/go kart centre, and Saskatoon has Apex Trampoline Park! Also, I did a canoe trip on the Churchill River and hiked to a waterfall! There are many more places I could share haha. Thank you for making these videos and sharing your perspective of our culture with us! I hope you can come visit one day!!

I've lived in Saskatchewan all my life and honestly the reason they don't showcase the cities as much is because the best stuff to do is outdoors. Overall I would say the attitude of people in Saskatchewan is a love of the outdoors. I have met all of my friends through one outdoor activity or another. The winters on the prairies can get particularly brutal so when spring comes everyone wants to be outdoors as much as possible. Whether its hiking, horseback riding, hanging out by one of the lakes, we all wanna take full advantage of our warm weather. Though winter camping, snowmobiling, and cross country skiing keep a lot of us outside in the winter too

I did a 17km hike in Grasslands this summer and came across 6 bison over two days of hiking. They were in the rut and were getting a little territorial. One was even blocking our trail and we had to walk as far around it as possible while hoping to not step on a rattlesnake. Talk about getting your blood pumping when you know that giant beast could charge at you and end you at any moment.

Also, Tyler, a lot of the names come from native words and are the names the aboriginals gave the land. Its actually the same in the US. Michigan, Iowa, Minnesota, Dakota.. all native. I guess we just get used to them. I think in the US, places are more named after the native chiefs, and here they are actually what the places were called before we got here, by the people who lived here.

I live in a rural village in Saskatchewan and enjoy nature and all its creatures.

Looking out the window and stare directly into the eyes of a deer, moose or countless smaller animals and birds.

You discovered something about Saskatchewan that most Canadians haven't discovered about it. A lot of Canadians not familiar with Saskatchewan think it is flat and full of grain fields. They did a good job of finding the beautiful places that remind the rest of the world that Sask. is not just flat even though it is rectangular.

Having quite a few generations of family on our paternal grandads side in Saskatchewan, the joke is always "the place you can watch your dog run away for four weeks", but jokes aside, it honestly has so many beautiful places. I love visiting!

So many places in Canada are named after First Nations words. Canada, Ottawa, Toronto, Saskatchewan. The name of the province comes from the Cree name for the Saskatchewan River, “Kisiskatchewanisipi” or “swift-flowing river.”

Thanks for saying Saskatchewan sounds like a foreign country. I wish I was living in a more exotic place. lol!

I'm glad they mentioned the parliament buildings and the Saskatchewan museum. The T rex robotic figure they have in the museum also has a name: Scotty. I've loved the dinosaur displays since I was a kid. I'm surprised they didn't mention the Saskatchewan Science Centre and Imax Theatre. Those are big tourist attractions in the city, too. There is a walking path/ biking path around Wascana lake that lots of people walk on/bike on during the spring/summer/autumn seasons. Oh, and we have the geese there, too.

There is also a Mosaic of Cultures that happens every year in late Mary/early June in Regina to celebrate the diversity in the city. The pavillions usually consist of: Chinese, Scottish, Irish, Hungarian, Romanian, German, Korean (South), in 2019, there was a first nations pavillion and we usually have two Ukrainian pavillions, Kyiv and Poltava. Because of the war in Ukraine happening, I've heard from a co-worker of mine who does dancing at the pavillions that there probably won't be Ukrainian pavillions at Mosaic this year. I think most of the funding that would go towards those pavillions is going towards helping the Ukrainians coming over from escaping the war.

Saskatchewan is my home. I left her once back in 2001. I came back. From her rolling fields to her north Canadian shield. Shes one of the most beautiful places on the planet

Saskatoon is known as the Paris of the west - gorgeous buildings, wonderful restaurants, and a great university. Regina is known as a place that makes Central Park so envious. The Wascana Creek splits the north and south into two halves, and the Park is amazing.

I was born in Saskatoon, joined the navy, circumnavigate the globe 5 times....and moved back to the prairie. Just missed it to much. Moosejaw is definitely unique with architecture that is just amazing....and the tunnels.
