"Out of the dark" is an epic and tragic song.
Singer and composer Falco died just a short time later in a car accident amd so this song is kinda prophetic.
So long ago and so many people are still sad.

Those OG German rappers that you liked are called "Die Fantastischen Vier" (The Fantastic Four) and yes, they have been instrumental for Rap in Germany. AND they made it without beeing obscene. I can highly recommend you have a look into them.

"Die da?" by "die Fantastischen Vier" is the song that took German hip-hop to the mainstream. So yes, in a way they were "the original German rappers".

Fun fact: the song in the beginning from Matthias Reim (Verdammt ich lieb dich) is one of the most sold records in germany ever !! Over 2, 5 million sold peices worldwide - for a pure german song!
