How To Make Salmon Taste 100X Better!
Показать описание
This Salmon with Dill Sauce is one of those recipes that kind of feels like cheating. The ingredients are so simple, it’s so easy to make, and yet it’s literally bursting with flavor and every bit impressive enough to serve to guests. Did we just beat the system?

Nobody likes dry, overcooked salmon. Don’t worry, we are going to show you how to get it perfectly cooked and flakey every time, without it a bit of toughness. Now let’s talk about this dill sauce. Though the salmon is obviously delicious and could literally stand all on its own, the dill sauce is arguably the star of the show. It’s all things tangy, fresh, zesty, and just straight-up amazing. You and you’re guests will 100% be going back for seconds.
Okay, last but not least, we threw in a couple of bonus recipes that are only going to add about ten minutes of prep and go SO well with this dish. We’ve got a perfectly herby rice upgrade as well as a super easy roasted asparagus recipe to get those veggies in. Let’s get into it!
How to make Salmon with Dill Sauce:
Start off by preheating your oven to 425°F and lining a rimmed baking sheet with nonstick aluminum foil.
Use paper towels to pat your salmon filets dry and lay them out on the baking sheet. Drizzle oil over them and season with salt, pepper, and lemon zest. Rub to adhere and top them each off with a few pats of butter.
Bake the salmon for 9-13 minutes, checking it at the 9-minute mark to ensure it doesn’t overcook. While it’s baking, let’s knock out that easy dill sauce!
In a small bowl combine, sour cream, mayo, heavy whipping cream, fresh lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, minced shallot, minced garlic, and of course, chopped fresh dill. Give it all a good stir and your dill sauce is ready!
Once the salmon is fully cooked, remove it from the oven, discard the skin, and serve it up with a spoonful (or three!) of dill sauce.
