my local junkyard had a couple gen 4 camaros with t56's thats how i got mine just needed the adapter bell housing

My 3650 has been going strong behind my swap since 2014. Never ran drag tires tho. So that might be the reason

Gforce T-5 is my vote. You get the beautiful shifts you'd expect from a T5 with the strength you need

3650 trans will work. I put one in my daughters 90 coupe coyote swap. Bellhousing sucks trying to get it between the bbl swap headers.

Btw, I have a t56 from a 03 cobra I might part with

As long as the T-5 was doing fine when it was pulled(can't remember if it went w/ the motor) I'd stick it back in for now. If not get a used one and rebuild it. I've seen many t-5's and T-45's live with over 400whp for years. It just depends what clutch you use and if you're redlining it every other shift. It's going to cost a good bit to even convert to a used T-56 even if you don't rebuild it. If it were me, I'd run the T-5 until I had the money to either get a used T-56 and rebuild it or get a new one.

I’m currently stuck with this very problem on my motor swap. I got a damaged 3650 laying in the floor but I really want to go with the T56. I really don’t want to spend the money fixing the 3650 when I know it won’t survive the new motor.

Hanlon Motorsports. Bob is a cool dude. Give him a call. He’s been a Foxbody stickshift guru since I can remember in the mid 90’s. He built my TR3650 and you’ll be surprised on cost. You really can’t go wrong with him, he’ll walk you through the process of what your looking to do with your ride and go from there. They also carry tko’s, magnums, t45, t5, and TR3650’s. If you have one laying around he’ll take it as a core as well. Hit me up!

I’m planning to swap a gen 2 coyote out of a truck here soon and using my t-45 most likely for now until I can upgrade, I have a 2000 mustang gt

If you want to go fast stuff a 6R80 in it & use the Power by the Hour 4R200 Hub Kit - assuming you have the trans laying around the compound.

Do it right the first time. you know getting everything done and putting a 3650 sounds like a good scape goat. When it comes down to it you just want to drive that thang not put in extra wrench time cause you wanted to save money now rather then later. 💯

T56 magnum $4700 shipped to my door. Wish I would of done it from the start. Stay away from the mt82 with damn near 4:1 first gear would be worthless in a fox unless you were running like a 3.31 rear gear

Get a 03-04 cobra T56, got the mine for 1k but rebuilt all the internals

Find out if the make a bell housing adapter for the cd009 to coyote. Trans is bullet proof and it’s only 1200 brand new from Nissan I think. But I’m sure this an old video

Doesn't the T56 use hydraulic clutch? The one that I have is set up for hydraulic throw out bearing.
