Hallelujah! A desperately needed upgrade. I don't know about other places but the Detroit/metro Detroit area went from the land of Ford to the land of Chevy because so many people were infuriated by the sync system. Lots of folks (especially the older generation) didn't renew their Ford leases because they preferred GM interface instead.

yea, pretty pissed i bought a brand new 2016 ford focus ST with SP2 option package JUST to get sync 3. it was a $2999 upgrade option and sync 3 was just a part of it. now i bought the car when i was stationed over seas, and MAN was i upset and out raged when i picked up my brand new car. I have a Sync 3 system with NO NAVIGATION! so i have a nice touch screen music player. wow, what a waste of money. I had no idea i had to pay ANOTHER $2000 for the SP3 option pack that gives sync 3 the voice nav system. a $4999 option JUST to have GPS in your car?!?!? so i thought okay, well theres the apps, so maybe i can share a nav app like google maps to sync 3. NOPE! no support for cell phone GPS. i mean really? ALL they would have to do is make it so you plug in a smart phone and literally stream whats on your phone to the sync 3 screen and the ENTIRE SYSTEM would be LEAPS AND BOUNDS better. and how expensive could that be, just to share your phones screen to the sync 3's

FINALYY, a decent phone like smooth touch screen player for car! Jeez, I always wonder why is it car manufacturer - name it from Mercedes Benz to BMW to Infinity to Tesla and pretty much any car with touch screen out there - their touch screen gizmo is surprisingly very laggy and always comes with horrid looking interface (from Navigation, Music Player etc). I spend less than 50$ on a cheapest Windows Phone and still works wayyyy smoother than all combine! Well Done FORD (not that it is a breakthru anyways, but WELL DONE!)

Not gonna lie, I really did like the old look of sync. This just looks plain and boring, hope they have different appearance options or something.

Colors etc look like garbage but seems to operate better. Kinda lame that you will need special gloves to operate this thing. Capacitive touch doesn't like gloves in cold climates. So I guess don't buy a ford until 2016?

Still overly complicated and causes you to take ur eyes off the road. Car makers infotainment suck
