the fact its in a car which used to have sync 2 is a good sign, means retrofits of sync 3 to older cars is probably possible

Design looks dated and something from 10 years ago. Like something you would find as a theme from Microsoft Powerpoint 10 years ago. I like Ford. I like that they are going in a good direction from a software and hardware stand point but the guy who designed the UI needs to get fired.

The Uconnect from FCAS has a much nicer screen. it looks like Ford copied the home row of buttons from Uconnect. I highly recommend if you are testing new vehicles to use the voice commands in each and see how they work. Just to change a satellite station both Ford and GM required several verbal commands. With the Uconnect you can push the button and speak " Hair Nation" for example and it changes.

It's a 1600 dollar upgrade from Sync 2 to Question is why? What's special about it?
