Rare breed has been half ass-ing this case from the beginning. They have asked for extension after extension. That being said it was obviously a BS call on the judges part because a company can be put on trial in ANY state where the trigger is sold so they should be able to sue in any district they sell in as well not just in districts where they produce or administer their products.

They absolutely have standing because it does not matter if they have an office in North Dakota they only have to prove they had been doing business within the State at the time of filing the lawsuit.

I spoke with Lawrence today via text message inquiring about what would I need to have standing to file a lawsuit in my state. I am weighing my options based on that conversation!

It is really starting to look like rare breed is playing f f games and stalling. From my understanding the judge they had in FL was a good judge, so why didn’t they just refill there? Or better yet why didn’t they just meet the filing deadline in FL. We could have had an answer by now if they just did what the court told em to.

Id say who needs to judge shop when congress wrote atf a letter three times saying they make the laws not atf and frt’s specifically are legal according to congress. But getting a judge that follows the law and the Supreme Court rulings is also important.
Congress says legal. You can redefine and move goal posts all you want, but you can’t make or change the law.
ATF’s job is not even to interpret the law. It’s to collect tax money and w force the law to the letter, not to the interpretation.
At best, frt’s could possibly be banned from public ranges or something similar, but calling a trigger a machine gun is simply not correct.
They could have at least said machine gun part and be closer to accurate. saying something that has no barrel or magazine or firing pin is a machine gun is as inaccurate as calling a monster truck a car.
