I agree commercial property is one to get into in the next few years. I think permitted development rights open up a great additional opportunity that you can add to your selection criteria when selecting which commercial property to buy. Converting commercial to residential is going to be a big opportunity in the retail commercial space. Those are unlikely though to get big discounts as to the one you've got at £750k from £1.6M.
