I like the parts of the game that shows that Hades does genuinely care about his family, just in his own way. He doesn’t get frustrated or upset with Zag for asking this question, he instead uses it as a teaching moment. He talks a little bit about his past, how difficult his early life was, and in so doing subtly implies Zag should maybe be more appreciative of what he has and stop running off to the surface. The writing and acting in this game, both of them, is phenomenal.

There is so much voice dialogue in this game. It felt like every time I came back there would be more people able to talk to me. And not in a hideo kojima way, it was only for a minute or so, but the writing was always so good. Hope hades 2 is just as good
