One of the most valuable and respectable things about Matt Walsh is his ability to admit his human weaknesses in faith or in general. To openly admit to being imperfect. Although that ought to be common, it is not. So, I think I speak for more than just myself alone when I say that this attitude and ability is appreciated deeply. He is what a real Catholic looks like.

I need to develop that habit of prayer. Here's a favorite, a Christian guy just gets personally lambasted and then informs the offender out loud... "Dude, I will pray for you." What??? I don't think that is something always smart to proclaim during or after a heated encounter.

Glossing... That's another excellent point; that's a danger for this writer. I don't have much of a "turn the other cheek" mentality, except for family. I tend to look at Christ as a pretty tough guy. However, I understand the appropriate position regarding truth and rising up.
