How to Install Drive Reach RV | weBoost
What's In the Box:
0:00--Drive Reach RV includes everything you need to install the Outside Antenna, Inside Antenna, and Booster in your RV.
Step 1:
0:26--Select Outside Mounting Location on Your RV
We recommend placing the antenna at least 12 inches away from any other antennas or openings using the provided bracket on a ladder or rack.
Step 2:
0:38--Assemble Outside Antenna
The modular mast extension builds the antenna up to 20.5 inches tall. If you want to add the provided mast extension, secure it to the antenna first. Then secure the side exit adapter. You must thread the antenna cable through the side exit adapter even if you are not using the mast extension or antenna spring. We recommend securing the optional antenna spring with Loctite to the adapter for additional support, flexibility, and durability.
Step 3:
1:31--Mount Outside Antenna
Using the provided washers, nuts, and bolts, secure the bracket to the ladder or rack near the top of your RV. You will need a wrench to tighten the bracket. Secure the bottom of the Outside Antenna to the bracket using the provided washer and nut. Connect the Outside Antenna cable to the provided low-loss cable. Secure the antenna cable to the roof of the RV using the provided adhesive mounts and zip ties. Route the cable through the slide-out gasket.
Step 4:
3:57--Mount Inside Antenna
Place the Inside Antenna on a table or countertop in the RV. Then mount the Booster in its bracket. Secure the bracket in a large cupboard or under a seat. Do not place the Booster in a small container, like a glove box, where it can easily overheat.
Step 5:
4:21--Connect Coax Cables
First, connect the Outside Antenna cable to the booster. Then connect the Inside Antenna cable to the Booster. Both coax cables must be plugged in before plugging into the RV’s power supply.
Step 6:
4:36--Plug into the RV’s Power Supply
Next, plug in the provided power cable to the RV’s power supply. Thread the power cable to the booster.
Step 7:
4:42--Connect the Power Supply to the Booster
Double-check all cables are securely connected before plugging in the power supply. Plugin the power line to the booster. If the light is green, the Booster is on and working. Refer to the provided Install Guide with any questions.

I see you don't answer questions here which is a shame, so I won't bother leaving one. :)

You da man! We retired and totally new to RV'g. This narration is so simple and so direct, easty to understand... and what more can we say. You're good at this. Hey, we're going on 80, so we both say ...what? what a LOT When researching stuff. But this.... home run. Heck even I can unstand this stuff. Thank you so much for taking the time. We're going to be buying a Leprechaun RV soon, and keeping in touch of our son and our granddaughters is a concern for us. But this.... just wiped our concerns away. I hope we meet a lot of nice people like yourself when we hit the road.

Also this might be a stupid question but can I use the coax plugs for satellite/cable on the outside and inside of my trailer?

Does the big washer go on same side of antenna bolt as the nut or antenna side. In video he put it on top (antenna side) in the alternate mounting spot, but you can't see in the normal mounting spot.

Can I install the Drive reach unit on the tow vehicle and have the indoor antenna in the trailer? we want the benefits of the weboost when we leave the camp site to go with us.

I routed the outside antenna through the slide corner gasket and it leaked horribly the next day with a 12 hour rain storm. I am still trying to dry out the vinyl plank floor as the water went under the flooring.

Hello waiting to buy once I can prove I can install. I have an all weather trailer does this mean my slides are sealed? Can’t really find a slide that can fit a cable through.

Would routing the cable through the slide like that not introduce a leak point?

I’m am a bit skeptical.

The video does not mention you have to register the device in order for it to work, and or how the weboost connects to the cell phone after registration. I followed each of the steps and the weboost is none operational. I also have a Verizon jet pack and the Verizon website provided for registration no longer Works. Its not as simple as the video portrays it to be.

I installed this on my Coachmen Leprechaun, rear ladder with extension, routed wire thru slide out, placed indoor antenna on kitchen counter that’s about 15ft away and I see no difference in signal when I unplug or plug in the indoor antenna. I get a solid green light on the unit with it plugged in or unplugged. What should I expect? The instructions tell us nothing about what we should actually expect to see. AT&T iPhone 12 Pro Max. I get the same 1-2 bars with it on or off.

Looks great! Can you recommend a wire entry gland to screw through a sprinter roof please?

Hello!
I would like to know the frequency range to see if it works in Brazil.
Here we have operators from 700 to 2, 900 Mhz

Hi there! Hoping you might be able to help with my Weboost? It works great but as you know, you can't go more than a few feet from the interior antenna or it will stop working. We use our Weboost mainly at our cabin. Do you know if it is possible to set up either a router or a repeater type system with the Weboost in order to get more distance from the interior antenna? Thank much for any info you can share. Rich W.

Does not work as advertised. Do not waste your money on this. 500 bucks out the window.

Just an FYI: When a company can't be bothered to use actual spoken words in a video, it kinda ticks me off. If this wasn't the best, most popular, booster on the market, and the installation wasn't so simple that it could/should have been done in a few pictures on your website, I would be inclined to look elsewhere.

Still, having an instructional video with only elevator music is pretty lame.
