How to STRAIGHTEN Bent Handsaws

In this video i go through the processes i use to fix bend handsaws for both panel saws and backsaws. The processes i use are pretty straight forward and correct the vast majority of bends and kinks in most handsaws.

I've found very good material about restoring backsaws in general from Bad Axe toolworks and there's also very good guidance to flatten the plate by twisting the back.
Unfortunately the document is no longer available. But you can find some other materials from Bad Axe toolworks regarding the topic.
