Working on this was such a magical experience! Working alongside my musical co-workers with Yu-Peng Chen, the LSO as well as the whole Genshin Impact team was something very special that I will keep with me for many years.

How come genshin never gets nominated in best music score in any gaming awards??

It was an honor to be part of the janitorial crew who helped clean up after the orchestra. A highlight of my career!

I would like to mention how wonderful it felt to perform in this. As far as gaming goes I can't see how this musical production could be out shone. Probably the best orchestra in the world, fantastic musicians from around the world....it was a privilege. Within the game this will sound magical.

It was such a privilege to assist Kuljit Bhamra in his studio recording this amazing soundtrack. This shoot in particular was magical. Feeling very grateful to have worked with such brilliant musicians. Can't wait for the rest of the music to be made public!

It is such a privilege and immense pleasure to be able to listen/watch an amazing orchestra play such amazing music. I am a new 70year old Aussie who appreciates a wide range of musical genres. I rarely comment to things but I felt moved to do so this time. Every one of you in this video are stars. Thank you all.

just came here from the fontaine orchestra, and as gorgeous as that was there isn’t a single song better in hoyo’s discography than “sumeru”.

People can criticize genshin all they want, but the fact that they spared no expense in the making of these amazing OSTs is undeniable.

Indian instruments: sitar, bansuri, tabla, tanpura
Persian instruments: santoor, daf, kamancheh
Arabic instruments: oud, gambus, darbuka
Overall, did not expect these instruments to go so seamlessly together.
Yu Peng Chen is a genius…….
Also credit goes to Kuljit bhamra and London symphony of course

Edit: guys chill I only mentioned the major instruments from different cultures, of course I know a lot more instruments are involved here

Edit: santoor is originated from Persia but the one used here is the Indian version of it. Similarly, tanpura is originated from India but the one used here is the Persian version of it. And yes, the women playing the tanpura was Indian.

The blonde lady smiling at 8:07 just makes my heart smile... like rarely do I feel emotional listening to orchestral music but this just hits different and seeing some of the musicians' faces in this with such joy really hits me :')
