I love how geography shapes music...

If you notice in most of Sumeru's slower musical pieces, Indian instruments are used the most, since their gentle and calming sounds evolved in India's delicate and lush rainforests.

Whereas Arabic and Persian instruments are used for the more fast paced music like battle themes, since their sharp and striking sounds evolved in the rugged and unforgiving landscapes of the desert.

As an Indian this makes me happy so many ppl are able to appreciate Indian classical music!!! Persian music is also blended in so it even makes it more better!!!

Not only the music, but the cinematography and the background is gorgeous. So much love goes into everything they do.

Me when reaching Sumeru City for the first time and hear the BGM:"Wow this BGM is so good, it feels like watching Titanic" 😀
Me hearing the BGM at the 3.2 quest:"So it's ACTUALLY feels like watching Titanic" 😭

"We all nestle under the great tree of wisdom, peering out to perceive the world. From the earth, and from the rain, we perceive it's wonders, until we become a white bird to perch atop a branch and finally snap off the most important leaf."

Remembering how Ei had such a prominent leitmotif across the Inazuma soundtrack, I kept wondering which of Sumeru's pieces are Nahida's, and little did I know it would be one so bittersweet and evocative. What a masterpiece.

"For Riddles, For Wonders" was the first track that made me stop in my tracks while going through Sumeru City and just listen. It almost brings a tear to my eye every single time and I still stop every time I hear the track start. As some people put it:
Literal chills

This music will never hit the same again.. From heartwarming to emotional damage. Those who finish Sumer Archon quest will understand.

0:58 absolutely took my breath away when i first heard it. Everytime this theme plays and the sitar pauses for a bit I anticipate that gorgeous flute melody and yet when it happens I'm never quite ready for the emotions it brings. I just feel my heart swell with something I cannot describe. Hands down my favorite genshin music moment.
